Global Youth Service Day 2013
This year we had such a big turn-out that
we are splitting up into two groups.
Dress accordingly.
Wear gloves.
Everyone must have a signed release form.
(I have copies at school too)
- 25 kids will report to Highland Park at 9AM
- You will work at Highland Park for an hour at which time the group will walk about 5 blocks to work with the Arlington Neighborhood Association.
- You will finish around 11:30 at which time you will either get picked up to go home or head to the Toledo Zoo for the lunch and activities
- This group will be close enough to walk to the Toledo Zoo Spencer Street employees entrance
- Make arrangements to get picked up at the zoo (you can stay as long as you want)
- The GYSD activities are usually at the amphitheater on the Broadway side of the zoo
- 25 will report to Burroughs Elementary at 9:45.
- You will finish around 11:30 at which time you will either get picked up to go home or head to the Toledo Zoo for the lunch and activities
- This site is too far to walk to the zoo - after you are done here you must get picked up to go home or to get a ride to the zoo.
- Make arrangements to get picked up at the zoo (you can stay as long as you want)
- The GYSD activities are usually at the amphitheater on the Broadway side of the zoo
