Litterbugz 2014

Litterbugz website.

LitterBugz is an organization started by a UT student named Jeff Schleckie a few years ago.

Jeff has since moved to Cleveland and started The Great Cleveland Clean-up there.

We would like to keep LitterBugz active in Toledo but on a smaller scale than previous years when many hundreds of people participated.

We are planning a TECHS only event on

Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 2-5 PM

We will be cleaning up the Scott Park area.

Last year we had over 100 kids involved!

You will need to have a signed release form.

Sign up here.

3. Walk to the zoo and enter through the Spencer St employee's gate.

More Details
  • People who signed up online by the deadline will get first dibs on the shirts
  • We will likely be picking up trash; the United Way is  providing gloves but you might want to bring your own
  • Dress for the occasion; don't wear your best outfit!
  • We need a few more parent chaperones
  • Group picture before we start the projects!
Zoo Details
  • If you go to the zoo you can stay as late as you want.
  • Parents who chaperoned can get in too.
  • You can park for free at the zoo lot off the trail but the lot on Broadway is owned by the city of Toledo and you will have to pay.
  • I'd park in the free lot on the Trail side and take a nice walk through the zoo.
